Originally from the Chicago suburbs, I studied journalism with a specialization in strategic communication at Indiana University- Bloomington (IUB). While at IUB, I also minored in Spanish and Marketing and received an Honors Certificate from the Liberal Arts and Management Program. I graduated in May 2022, Summa Cum Laude, and was inducted into the Gamma of Indiana Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and the Indiana University Chapter of Kappa Tau Alpha.
My professional career in Bloomington began with a public relations internship at My Sister’s Closet of Monroe County (MSC) in May 2021. After I graduated, I was offered the role of boutique manager throughout the summer of 2022. When I moved back home in September 2022, I continued my involvement with MSC as the Social Media Marketing Manager. After 10 months in this role, I was promoted to Marketing Director. I also held a seat in MSC’s administrative board during this time, occupying the seat of Secretary from July 2023 through February 2024, and serving on the Event Planning Committee for their 25th anniversary gala.
During and after my time with MSC, I began doing freelance social media work for Monster Digital Marketing, whose accounts I ran from October 2022 through August 2026.
Looking for a new challenge, I joined Smithbucklin in July 2024 as a Marketing and Communications Senior Associate. At Smithbucklin, an agency that caters to trade associations, I occupied a role that included both marketing and content management elements. I worked on a variety of clients in a multi-layered, matrix environment. After a year and a half in my role, I was promoted to Marketing and Communications Coordinator, which is the role I currently occupy.
I am looking for a role that deals more with content management, including the strategic and technical elements of all that implies.
